Hi!

Hi, it’s good to see folks visiting this website about the experience of unrequited love. This is meant to be a participatory discussion, not a monologue. Please leave comments! You don’t have to give personal information to comment. The system will ask for your name and an email address but you can just make stuff up if you’d rather not give it. You can leave comments on any of the posts, and if you are so inclined, on my poetry page Musings. Also, please consider participating in the polls below, and in the surveys on the Surveys page.

Great to find your sites again l.l. for those of us living with this they are much needed.
Just wanted to let you know, LL, that I read Why We Love, and found it immensely helpful in making me feel I wasn’t an obsessive nut job but someone truly in the throes of love. Thanks for the suggestion.
I also read “why we love” and glad i did, although it does not go into unrequited love much, i too now feel less alone and glad this site is here. from, longing for him
It’s times like these that make me wish I never let her know how I felt. If you let someone know, (if it isn’t requited) then all you get is pain, and the knowledge that she doesn’t want to be anywhere near you annymore… From close friends to distant acquaintances. The pain just doesn’t stop. But on the flip side of the coin if you don’t tell them, then you’ll never know if they feel the same about you. It’s a neverending cycle of pain…
